Important Sensor & Functionality

Samsung The Frame TV is equipped with built-in motion and ambient light sensors that control features such as Art Mode activation and automatic brightness adjustment.

Please note that our custom TV frames physically cover the TV’s sensor areas. As a result:

• Motion Sensor (Art Mode):
  The motion sensor will be obstructed, meaning Art Mode will no longer automatically turn on or off when someone enters or leaves the room. Art Mode must be controlled manually.

• Ambient Light Sensor:
  The ambient light sensor will be blocked, so automatic brightness and light-based adjustments will no longer function.

• Infrared (IR) Sensor:
  The infrared sensor may also be partially or fully obstructed. If this occurs, the standard IR remote may not function properly.

Alternative Control Options:

• You can continue to control the TV using the Samsung Bluetooth remote, which does not rely on the infrared sensor.

• An Infrared Extension Kit is available for purchase if IR functionality is required. Get in touch with us to request one.
